Thank you for your good wishes and the books. P. is currently in hospital in Essen. You can see his faculties returning every day but it could be a long time before he is the same as before. Next week he'll go to "Rehab" to re-learn everything he lost due to the stroke. The doctors in the hospital praised the good and prompt treatment in St. Malo and Rennes and say that he has a good chance.
